Description
A single-player roguelite deckbuilder where your fortress fights back.
Spirefall is a single-player roguelite deckbuilder with turn-based card battles. Deploy units, cast spells, and unleash fortress weapons to break the enemy stronghold. Your commander and fortress start on the table with abilities of their own; between battles, choose your route and reshape your deck for the next opponent. The free demo includes two complete tavern Gauntlets and three playable factions.
Features
- Your fortress fights back — commanders and fortresses begin on the table with abilities that shape every battle
- Branching Gauntlet runs — choose battles, encounters, shops, and bosses while rebuilding your deck between tables
- Two complete demo taverns — climb Tully’s Ale Haus, then descend into Antiok’s Undercroft for a new host, opponents, boss, ten-rung Ledger, and 54 region cards
- Three playable demo factions — Technocrat beam weapons, Merchant Coast contracts and cannons, or Bards whose rotating instruments rewrite the board
- Progress that changes future runs — unlock commanders, fortresses, cards, and Emblems; preserve boss-winning decks as reusable Trophy Decks
- Full controller support — play with mouse and keyboard or controller, including on Steam Deck

FAQ
Is the demo free?
Yes. The demo is live on Steam with two complete tavern Gauntlets and three playable factions: Archmage Technocrats, The Merchant Coast, and Guild of the Inglorious Bards.
Can I stream, record, or monetize video of Spirefall?
Yes. Coverage of the public demo and release builds is welcome, and monetizing that content is fine. No permission needed; this page is your permission.
Is it multiplayer?
Single-player at launch. Multiplayer is a post-1.0 consideration, not a launch commitment.
What does it cost?
The demo is free. Spirefall will be a premium paid game in Early Access, with no free-to-play model, battle pass, or microtransactions.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows and Linux via Steam. Other platforms will be evaluated after 1.0.
Does Spirefall use generative AI?
Portions of this game's art and audio were created using generative AI tools during development: card and character artwork, backgrounds and icons (including store page artwork), music, sound effects, and voice audio were AI-generated under human direction, then curated and edited by the developers. Game design, rules, code, card text and names, and all narrative writing are human-authored. Nothing is generated by AI while you play.
